The Mystery of Electricity. Where Does It Come From?

May 13, 2022 by Eric Valdespino

Humanity has evolved into one of the most developed species, at least on Earth. With many advancements in science and technology, our lifestyle has changed a lot over the past century and even in the past decades.

Some 44,000 thunderstorms rage worldwide each day, delivering as many as 100 lightning bolts to the ground every second. These dramatic, deafening flashes of electricity recharge the global battery by keeping the ground flush with negative electric charge and maintaining the ionosphere’s positive charge. Lightning turns the Earth into an electric circuit, and it may have even delivered the spark that got life started in the primordial soup.

But for all we know, lightning might as well come from Zeus. Counting Ben Franklin’s kite-and-key experiment as the starting point, 250 years of scientific investigation have yet to get to grips with how lightning works.

There are several ways to generate electrical power.

There are various methods of electricity generation dependent on types of energy. Among resource energies, coal and natural gas are used to generate electricity by combustion (thermal power), Uranium by nuclear fission (nuclear power), to utilize their heat for boiling water and rotating steam turbine.

Among renewable energies, sunlight is directly converted into electricity (photovoltaics), rotation energy by wind is converted into electricity (wind power), rotating water wheel by running water to generate(hydro). Magmatic heat boils underground water to rotate steam turbine to generate (geothermal).

Continuous technology development for them is proceeding to convert resource energies or renewable energies into electricity with less loss. It is also important for the operation of power plant to do maintenance or training of operators.

What kind of technology do intelligent aliens use?

In the book the Last Alien Encounter, the aliens on their planet developed a technology that replaced artificial intelligence with an integration of machines that was connected with biological science. Their technology was self- correcting, self-analyzing autonomous systems that learn and teach other machines, and when used correctly could create a cornerstone of a strong self- governing civilization.

Their alien civilization thrived and evolved using cooperative social behaviors. The logic behind this was to advance their society by sharing intelligent and feasible ideas. Their legacy lasted for thousands of years without governments and businesses’ interference greed and corruption.
